No issues with the kit itself. The one issue i did run into was the D2S plug that kit comes with is huge and doesn't fit with the headlight worth a damn. Insert me getting a little pissed off and I snapped the locking nibs on one of the bulbs. Opps.....
One of these days I'm going order Osram bulbs, and the straight D2S plugs, new ignitors and extension wires so I can stuff the ballasts in the bumper.

I'd recommend this kit to anyone.

I know this is an old post but most of morimoto bulbs break easily, the oem quality never breaks. NEVER.

My first retrofit. Unfortunately i have to use halogen bulbs and the light output is bad - so i will modify them to other projectors soon.

what do you think? stay with the current shrouds or change to e46-r style?

e46-r shrouds

Why do you have to use halogen bulbs? Did you do a retrofit with halogen projectors? Seems like a waste of time.

laws are very strict here and police can take license plates of my car if i have xenon hids installed. i just wanted to try to modify them and have nice headlights not bought off the peg.

Necro post
Anyway just picked up an accord as my daily driver for cheap gas and since I retro every vehicle I own it had to get the upgrade as well.

Parts list:
Projectors - Morimoto D2S 4.0 (shield dropped slightly for better hotspot)
Bulbs - Osram D2S CBI
Ballasts - Hella Gen3 (boosted to 47watts)
Switchback - Morimoto XSB 3.0 18"
Harness - Morimoto 9006 HD relay (relays replaced with Hella SPDT 7794311)

I used Depo stock replacements to build in since the stock lenses were beyond restoring.

I hope to contribute in here soon. Been doing a lot of research and just snagged up S2000 projectors on the cheap!

Get some sort of UV protection on there ASAP, or they'll turn yellow in a matter of months. Either PPF or 2K clearcoat.

Progress? Finally.

Picked up some misc. hardware this weekend so i can get these things mounted to the brackets and work on adjusting their mounting height etc...

i've been doing a lot of reading on retrofits, and i'm going back and forth on re-using the oem headlight sealant that is still on the housings vs. scraping it all out and putting in new rubber butyl tape.

So.....here i am a year later and no further along than what i originally posted. Bumping this back up to get some input/advice on mounting these things. I'm having a hard time determining where i can drill to run the hardware to mount these things to the bracket, there isnt much real estate to work with using the s2000 projectors. I can see 2 good spots to mount them, and then one maybe on each one. Ideally, id like to have four places to run the bolts through...but i dont want to dig into the projector housing to do so. Ideas?

I think most people who do S2000 retrofits on Integras run bolts with springs on them, to take up the space between the two mounting flanges, since the distance from flange to lens trim ring is shorter on the S2000 vs. the Integra. If you mounted the S2K flange directly on the Integra bracket you'd have a huge gap between the S2K lens and the Integra shroud, and not as much light would be able to get out.

Right, i planned on using long enough bolts and either spacers or springs to get the distance correct. I'm just worried i won't be able to get enough mounting points to make sure the projector is stable and securely mounted to the bracket. I can see 2 good places to mount them, i was thinking i would need more than that.

I started my HID retrofit this past weekend, mainly with the mounting of the projectors. I think i messed up the drilling of the housing on the one bolt, but this is my first retrofit ever so messing up is expected. I think it should be fine though once i get everything mounted, secured, and leveled out. Hopefully i can work on leveling out the projectors this week with some free time after work, if i get some free time.

You can see one of the bolts is a tad skewed here.

And here.

The skew only affected things a tad. got it to work out though, i need to go back through a double check the levelness of the first projector i installed, then i should be good to trim the extra length on the bolts and put back in the housing.

Found this gasket or whatever it is is cracked, replacement available?

Nice work. I've seen folks mounting S2K or TSX projectors to Integra headlights using springs on the bolts, which I guess allows some adjustment to get it pointed just right, instead of using solid spacers.

That would have been so much easier. I kept adding washers and checking for level and then adjusting each bolt from there. took me all damn weekend lol

That's part of the reason why I went the E55 route back in the day. The flange to lens distance was nearly the same as stock so the flange bolted directly to the Integra projector bracket, with no spacers or standoffs needed. I've heard that the Morimoto Mini D2S 5.0 projectors are a direct swap for the E55's. Would love to switch over to those someday.

i initially was going to go with e55’s for the same reason. Then these things fell into my lap for an amazing price.
