Default HID Bulb

Well i wanted to know if i would be able to change my HID Bulbs because the ones i have on now blew out on me.. i have the banbo 8,000k HID kit.. can change the bulbs or do i have to buy a whole new set agian? And how long do the bulbs usually last for? Thanks

I don't know whether the Banbo kit use proprietary connectors on its capsules, but generally you should be able to replace them.

The should come out the same way that your stock bulbs came out. Did you not install the HID's yourself?

To take out the bulb, if this is for your Del Sol, there should be a rubber grommet that you take off, behind that grommet will be a metal clip. Push the clip down and move it upwards and it will unclip. The bulb pulls straight back. Also, the bulb should have two wires coming off of it, just disconnect those wires and its out.

I think they usually run for about a year or 2... Sometimes even more depends on how good they are.....

Good info from both of you guys.. I know how to take the bulbs off of my del sol but i wanted to know how to take the bulbs off a HID KIT! Read my title topic LOL!! Thanks though

pretty straight forward taking off your ballast. you take your fingers...and pull them apart from your connectors.

OMG are you serious??? Talk about some POS bulbs!

My current Philips D2S bulbs have been in my car going on 4 years now (this February) and my ballasts will be 5 years old next month.

It's sickening how cheap some of this stuff has gotten these days.
