Default HID

hey guys, well i got a free HID kit from my friend and installed it on my 94 Del Sol.. Everything fits correctly, but my main concern is that in order to have my HIDS to light up i have to have the high beams on.. I wanted to have the HIDS on my low beams but it doesn't seem to work. Im not to sure on the brand kit i have but i know it is 10,000K Blue something. How would i be able to run my HIDS on low beams instead of running them on the high beams.. Its really irritating me to run them on high beams and that blue light symbol for the high beams is annoying when its on too.. help pretty please..

umm...

doesn't the delsol use h4 bulbs?

if it does.. then you need to just switch the power leads on the h4 adapter harness.

then you can go mmm glare and omg no highbeams!

There are 3 pins on the h4 plug..

there is 1 ground and two positives or one positive and two grounds.

see how it is hooked up, and just switch it..

edit: the common one is the left most pin, with the middle facing up...

------------------

to switch it, just de-pin the terminal on the HID ballast's harness.

you depin the aftermarket one..

your aftermarket harness should only have 2 wires..

see which is ground and which is positive.. and move the pins.

to depin.. there might be clips or a tab you have to press with a very small screwdriver...

ohh so basically all i have to do is try to get the pins out and switch them around in order to work with my low beams? Seems alil hard and risky but i guess i can try it.. This wont blow my hid bulbs faster will it?
