Default Help with HID

Hey people. I just got some HIDs. I got some 8000k high/low for my EK. When I put the high beams on they go to 10000k. When the low beams are on they are not as bright as Hids should be at all in my opinion. anyone think they know why? any input would help. High beams are super bright and blue. they ligh up the sky but low beams just seem like good normal bulbs.

Source out a different set of ballasts for the low beams. It sounds stupid, but I've seen a number of cases in person where just changing the ballasts made a significant difference brightness output. Also seen a couple where the colors of the bulbs shifted just by changing the ballasts as well.
