Default should i get HID highbeams?

i recently found out on this forum that my car has separate high beam and low beam bulbs and i already decided to get low beam HIDS but im wondering if i should also get High beam HIDS. i decided to get low beam HIDS because the road i travel on are dark and i dun know if my high beams would be bright enough when i need it. does anyone have any ideas or suggestions. thanks alot.

did anyone get high beam HIDs? is it necessary?

if your high beam is a 9006/5 just get the HIR bulb for it.

http://hirheadlights.com/

^ read for more info

to get em, look around...

EDIT: apparently since they are still used on other cars as OEM, you might be able to get em cheaper through a dealership that sells cars with them...

The bulb is the 9011/2 H/L

i heard that it's possible to use bixenon bulbs for the high beams. that way all four projectors would be on but only the two bixenons would turn to highbeam when needed. what do you guys think about that? like, do you think it's a good idea to do that. because wouldnt it consume a lot more electricity since there's twice as much lowbeams as my original headlights have..

there are a few threads on h-t about HIR bulbs...

instead of just bumping your thread, go search for them....

HID for your main highbeam, isn't a great idea... the highbeam is used for flash to pass... even in the day time.

HID's aren't meant to be turned on quickly then turned off again...

If you do a retrofit with a bi-xenon projector... then you will have an HID highbeam when your low-beams are on....

i was thinking about that (to put bixenon) so it wouldnt be constantly turned on and off but the only problem is if it would use more electricity. i dun really know..

and im not sure aobut the HIR because it seems that not much people use them, and im afraid i might f*ck up trimming it, i always mess up the stupidest things..

Okay so i decided to get HIR bulbs, I'm wondering if i can just install a "halogen" projector for the Highbeams. I'm not really sure what the point of a halogen projector is, can some body tell me? and whats the effect on the light, would me make it brighter or more dull?

I thing a halogen/xenon is the better choice.
the structure is better and more value than others
whatever you decide, please to get the better quality one
