Default Help with H4 Connection

Sample of an H4 male connector:

There is one on top and two on the sides, which ones are the negative and which ones are positive? Thank you.

Hmmm, you're diagram looks like it differs from these instructions:
20. Wire configuration of HID wiring to OEM Headlight wire harness. (Facing connector; TOP is positive wire [RED] and BOTTOM RIGHT is ground wire [black].



Am I mistaken?

i forget if the diagram was looking at the harness on the car, or on the back of the bulb...
i think it was looking at the back of the bulb.

also my diagram shows no + or - terminals..

H4 lights are either positive or negative triggered..

meaning their common is either ground or positive.

depending on the year of the car, it could be positive or negative triggered.

easiest way to figure it out, is to use a multimeter.
