Default will this fuel set up work?

whats up, i recently got a rbc and when putting the tb back on the throttle cable bracket hit my fpr(was mounted on pass. side of rail) so trying to figure out how to rearrange with out having to have my hoses cut. the fittings are pressed on. does the return have to come from the fpr? i saw a pics in the fs threads and dude had his setup like this but could not see pass. side to see where his return was coming from. any help would be great. thanks

The FPR needs to be after the rail to provide pressure to the injector.

With your current setup you would have no fuel pressure.

Nice rail

If you wanted this to work you would have to have the return line coming from the bottom of the regulator and the fuel rail caped off.

Give us a call on Monday and we can give you some ideas on how to route it with what you have.

thats what i thought, the fpr needs to be after b/c it pinches the return to build the x amount of pressure. i think.. i guess i will go back to the idea of mounting the fpr on the tranny and just bring one line to the rail and one to the return, thanks, hybrid rules. love my rail and just got thru installing my hr speed conv. thumps up

You could leave it exactly how you have it if you capped off or plugged the drivers side of the fuel rail and ran the return from the bottom of the pr valve back to the tank.

The only disadvantage to doing it like that is: any air bubbles in the system will be forced out through an injector. Placing the pr after the rail would allow any bubbles to follow the path of least resistance through the return orifice/line.

yeah my return hose won't reach to the pass. side. prob. going to just have to mount on tranny and have one hose cut and twoo more fittings pressed on. just was trying to figure out a free way to get it back together. don't think its gonna happen unless i mount the fpr on the hard line return where i have my compression fitting. but don't like that idea. guess just need to get my hose fixed. thanks for the input
