hey so my dad has a 02 rsx-s that he doesnt drive anymore, he said i can buy it from him for 700$. so in my head this is a GREAT deal. im about to get a kswap and EVERYTHING i need to swap it myself for 700 right?!!!!

so my question is, can i take EVERYTHing off the rsx-s and just swap it onto my civic(axles,shifter,tranny,mounts i mean EVERYTHING i would have to buy for a kswap). what do i need to replace if anything.


and before anyone gives me **** ive been trying to find a thread with this info since 7, couldnt find anything so i decided to make one

Well the thing is that this is a forum for the EP3/DC5 where the only swaps we do are straight forward Kseries to Kseries... so you question will probably not get the answers you are looking for!

You are limited as to what you can get off of his car... You can only get :

- motor/tranny
- axles
- ecu
- ignition & immobolizer wiring
- shifter & cables

and thats about it... You still have to buy mounts, redo your fuel system, swap harness, header, etc... Do some research on a k-swap. Understand whats involved and you will know what you can get from his vehicle...

If it were me, for $700, I would suggest you consider buying the rsx and selling the civic. Use the money from the civic sale to upgrade the rsx.
