Has anyone had problems with getting their k swapped vehicle emission/smog tested? I currently live in Las Vegas and need to have my car smog checked(emissions tested). I went to a smog location and was informed that they cannot run a check because my hatch is swapped. I went over to the main DMV office and tried to get the car emission tested but the computer they had could not read anything. Went to Pep Boys to see if they can run diagnostics and their machine couldn't read the car at all either. Currently my hatch cannot be registered until I spend at least $450 in repairs so I can maybe get an exemption with the DMV. I checked all the fuses which are all fine. Could it be wiring issues? Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

 

is it running on a JDM ecu? those can't be read by scanners here
