k24a2 EG problems, need help
Setup:
-06 k24a2 50-60k
-Stock Internals
-05 RBB Manifold w/ Accord TB
-Hondata IMG
-K20R Engine Harness
-HR Conversion Harness
-Hondata PRB K-pro
I fired it up for the first time and let it idle for 3-5min while adding coolant until I looked up and saw nothing but white smoke. So I shut it down and checked for any coolant leaks/ over-heating, the ECT was reading 220ish, could'nt find anything. I'm running no heat with K-tuned delete Caps. Went for a second start and the same issue happened, shut it down and ran a compression test. It read between 180-185 on all cylinders. So I figured I would let it run the next day and see if it eventually clears. Then it would crank but not start. I replaced the spark plugs which were fouled. It started right up and let it idle for 5min or so and shut it down until I bled the clutch line to take it for a drive. Now it will not start again, there was fuel in the oil so I drained it and put new oil in. I've tried 3 different calibrations on K-pro and still nothing, it cranks and has a sputter-effect and tries to start but will not. It's getting fuel and I checked for spark as well. All fuses are ok and I can hear the fuel pump prime before I start. FPR regulator was set at 52psi. No CEL...
A few weeks later I found out it was the map sensor and it started up. As I was topping the radiator off with coolant the ECT on k-pro was at 224 and the CEL came on and read.. engine over-heating, 30sec later I shut it down and the bottom rad hose was cold so I figured it was the thermostat? But now it won't start again? I kept the radiator full at all times as it was warming up, the fan kicked in as well... Anyone run into these problems? I'm new to these things, any help is appreciated.. thanks guys.

your thermostat wont stop your car from starting. have you figured out where the white smoke came from? maybe your dumping in too much fuel and washing the oil in the cylinders into the oil pan.
I haven't figured out where the white smoke came from, yesterday when I let it run for 10-15min I saw only a little white smoke for 30seconds and it eventually went away. thanks for the quick reply
