Default k24 block issue

I have a crv block that I am wanting to build up.. But I am lost on how to modify the oil pump from a k20 to work on it.. And is 12:5:1 really ok for the street? It will be n a daily driver... So yeah... Would it really be ok..

it is quite simple.

mock the A2 pump up against your block. section it out with a marker where the pump interferes with the block/girdle. Take a grinder/file/cutting wheel and start going to town. Dont worry if it seems like you have to cut away a lot. You do. Tape up all orifices also, dont want any metal getting in your oil pump. Having compressed air helps, Blow away all shavings/aluminum dust.

make sure you get a new chain when you do this as well, it is work doing.

If you have a CRV (k24a1) you will not have to grind the pump. It bolts straight on, no mod required.
