i have a 1980 Honda civic and i was wondering if its possible to put a k20 in there.. Also what all would be needed...? Thanks in advanced..

 

1980 is pretty old but yea u should be able to do it all you need is the engine, custom ecu, custom motor mounts, and axles

 

So, u think it can be done..? I was just wondering since i have seen one with a b16 turbo in it... Cause i was thinking of just going to an auction and buying a wrecked car with the k20 in it... And going from there... Also its a rhd drive civic...

 

yea still should be able to you could pretty much put anything in anything just its a hell of a work and you got to get more **** custom cuz its nowere to be found especially since its right hand drive also so your going to have even more complications but it'll work tho

 

Hello again its been a while since i posted.. i was wondering if any of you guys found any suspension parts from newer civics that would fit the 80 model honda civic like suspension and brakes ? Any info would be greatly appreciated.....

 

it can be done, if you have the money to shell out. unless you can do your own fab work it's going to cost a pretty penny.

 

Well i was thinking more along the line of direct fit with out many modification or fabrication.. Hope fully some can help and all info will be greatly appreciated..
