I need help got my car running and it runs strong but idle sometimes And I was stuck on the engine harness I have 5 wires that I have to tapped to the oem ecu plugs I got three tapped but the 2 is were I'm stuck . I not sure what engine harness I have I probably have rcrew .
My setup is a 1995 civic ex
K24a2 with kpro

 

Two of the wires that I don't know what's it for are all red and white

Where are the wires coming from that your unsure of? Pics will help.

 

The 5 wire are from the engine harness I'm using with a k24 engine . There's five the have to be tapped to my oem ecu plugs . 2 of the ones are red and white with black . I don't know what they for I haven't run down their not label like rywire one ... rkrew racing engine harness are know to have these 5 wires

 

I just don't want to tapped them into anyone I want to make sure we're they go and what they for the pictures show 5 and the botto one shows were they tapped them in . I got the ones the match green and yellow

 

Need help before I tune her

 

This is confusing. Are these wires from the engine harness it self or a conversion harness? To me looks to be a conversion harness.

If from a conversion harness the 5 wires should be fuel pump,check engine light,eld and the two others wires I'm not sure of right now.

The colors really don't tell me much as every harness uses different colors. I need to know where exactly the 5 wires are going to tell you what there for and where you need to tap them to. 3 of the wires should go to the ecu plug and the other 2 might go to the ecu plug as well but not sure.

There red and white with black looks to be from their o2 sensor plug but I'm not using my o2 plug cuz I have straight pipe!!!????

 

In order to see exactly which wire you need help with - could you upload pictures from the plug the wires are coming out. Try and insure we can clearly see from which plug / pin the wires are located.

Which ecu are you running i.e K100 / Kpro or stock?

 

With regards to 02 sensor , you should use one as this will insure your car engine has correct Air & Fuel ratio.

Got the other 2wires tapped there for 1 brake switch 2 signal switch. Not going run 02 sensor it's getting tune thanks for the help and my bugging issues was a dirty fuel filter.
