Hello interwebz!

Little intro to myself, the car(s) I currently have, and some previous.

I picked up my first Honda in November 2014 from a family friend. 1999 Civic EX 2-door. The family owned it since new and all three of their kids drove it while in college. I picked it up as a cheap daily commuter since I drive about 60 miles per day.

About 4 months later, an accident on the freeway. New rad support, bumper, hood, headlights and all is well! Motor wasnt touched and it still ran like a champ while it looked hideous.

Few months in the OEM clutch (with 250k ish) miles was finally giving out. Got the parts just in time as it was literally on its last leg pulling it into my garage for the install. New clutch, flywheel, fluids, pass ball joint. Ive put very little into this car and its been pretty good to me for the last year in a half.

The whole reason I bought the civic was because June 2014 I bought a very clean 2005 Subaru WRX STi off a close friend. I was paying about $100 a week in gas with my commute (I got the STi to average 24 mpg! - Now its a weekend car again, its back down to 17ish ). Has a long list of stuff done (more than happy to answer questions if interested) and its mainly a garage queen right now.

Before the STi, I owned a 2002 WRX for just over 7 years before selling it to pick up the STi. Another long list of mods done to the car, it was a great car!

Prior to the WRX, I owned a 1969 VW Bug for about 6.5 years. Bought it in high school, restored it and drove it daily. Miss that car from time to time. From being heavily involved with VW and Subaru, my dream build is to get a late 50's/early 60's ragtop with a turbo subaru EJ motor swap.










Im still very involved with Subaru and organize weekly Sacramento CA area meets. I am a co-owner of a local apparel company some friends and I started, anyone need some awesome polarized sunglasses :ShamelessPlug: (https://www.instagram.com/teammoistofficial/). I mainly joined this forum to search its archives for maintenance/repair work on the civic - as I just started having a wretched sound from the steering (time to search and make another thread if need be!).

Im open to all/any questions on any of my current/previous cars, hope to find some good info here!
