Hi. I'm Sean. Just picked up an unmolested 1996 dx hatch ($1000) to replace my 1989 EF si that my ex took in the divorce. I'm an old vw gear head that recently came over to the dark side... for cookies. Plans are to build an affordable fun daily/autocross car.

Already did the front brakes... and yes, that's Pepsodent. Polished the headlights quite nicely. Also replaced the shifter bushings to tighten up the stick. Changed out the oil, filter, gear oil (Honda gear fluid), fuel filter, rotor button/dist cap, ngk plugs and wires. Future plans are Progress 350/450, rear sway, 15" TRMs/Kosei/BuddyClub wheels, maybe a mini-me or a swap... still thinking about that one. Well, after lurking for 3 years, I plan on being more active. Anyone in the St Louis area? See you guys around!

 

This is my other ride. She's a 1960 ragtop that i got when i was stationed out in California (DAMN I miss Cali). I built her a 2110, weber 48 Ida's, Engle fk8 cam, 044 max wedge heads match ported through mani's, 10.5:1 car. I built her and love her. Car runs a 12.62 qtr mile with m/h cheaters. Currently working out electrical gremlins.
So you can see, I am not a stranger to cars. She's my 7th old school vw, but this is my second Honda.
