I just acquired a 2002 CRV as a project car to fix up, drive over winter, and then possibly sell since I'd rarely need it in summer. These vehicles are very sought after in my area.
I previously owned a Subaru Forester (manual), and did some work on that, including timing belt, and a few handling tweaks.
So far very impressed with the quality and feel of the car.
Main issue is the transmission, which has strange behaviour including lack of reverse. I will ask about that in a technical forum.
