Problem
Now let me tell you, i swapped clutch, i used a small impact gun to put pressure plate on fly wheel transmission was previously working fine! I put back transmission, i put it in first, the car didn't move but the speedometer was going up but the motor was still on, it didn't stall! The transmission would shift nice to every gear, it would also shift without pressing on clutch pedal!. We put the car on jack stands, i put in gear, i accelerate it, the wheels started moving slow like around 2,500 rpms some sort of delay yk? Then i braked suddenly and fast! Then after that wheels didn't spin at all so yeah that's what im left with, i dropped the transmission again idk what to do
Sounds like an axel wasn't in all the way. The pressure plate bolts get like 26ftlbs, so an impact is too much for those lil guys. Hopefully you didn't break them. But if the clutch cover bolts are fine, thinking axel wasn't in all the way. Open diff will put power to the wheel with the most slip, and if there's no axel in one half of the trans, that half of the diff is going to spin as if it's a wheel with no traction.
