So I just recently did a rebuild on my original '00 GSR.
Car was running fine during break in period (500 miles), but at about 1k miles my oil light came on out of nowhere. At 1st it was flashing on & off but now it just stays on. My oil is topped off and my oil pressure is normal. I did a few light pulls after the break in and vtec does engage. Yesterday I decided to just send it from a launch and see what happens, vtec engages but at about 6k rpms my vtec shuts off. Does anyone else know what it might be?

Here are a few details on the build:
Gsr block with ctr pistons (block was honed to original specs)
Gsr head with itr cams (head was resurfaced)
new oem gsr oil pump
new oem timing belt
new oem distributor cap + rotor
new ngk spark plugs
new oem gaskets all the way around
new arp head studs
new hasport mounts
new sk2 pro series manifold
new sk2 throttle body
new yonaka axles
new comp clutch stage 4
new toda light flywheel

I'm sure im missing a few things but you get the idea lol
