Default New Old Guy

Hey everyone! I used to be a member here circa 2003 but have forgotten all of my login info and username.

I am just now getting back into Hondas after about a decade away.

Currently I'm diagnosing a DC4 B20B turbo build that blew the engine. Smokes like crazy.

This B20B has very low compression numbers. 150 140 160 150 after oil added to the cylinders. WIthout oil the numbers are 115 110 125 125. All numbers w/ throttle plate wide open.

Car will idle and move but smokes very bad and we have to keep revs very high to move the car on any incline.

We are going to do an engine swap on it. However we are also trying to figure out why the numbers are this low and what happened to the B20B (Rings, Valve Seals, Head Gasket, All the above). Boost numbers were relatively low to mid range as always when the car was driven.

So anyways, I'll be running around the forums. Hope to see ya around!

If anybody has any good info, send it my way.
