Hello all. I just got a 2000 honda civic.. the guy I got it off of was a idiot. He had the vtec 1.6l sohc . But for w.e reason changed the head to a non vtec version. Anyway I have a lot of work to do on this thing. It runs and drives and the body is in excellent condition. I was jw if u could change just the head of the vehicle to a dohc vtec or do I have to change the entire engine.. I'm no newbie to mechanic work it's what I do for a living but I work for ford sadly.. hate fords
