How's everyone doing I'm new to the forum world but they are just loaded with knowledge so I'm here to get knowledeged.

I have a 98 civic ex coupe (d16y8) that I'm the second owner of at about 130k miles, and I'm wanting to begin building on, (tax season is almost here (: ) I've been doing tons of research the past few weeks and ive got a pretty good idea. I'm very mechanically inclined to do my own work so parts and where to begin is my main concern I'm more of a small block guy but I got me a honda for DD but 127hp just ain't cutting it anymore for me. I'm planning on getting a rebuild kit and im wanting to put a mild cam to begin with (and anything else necessary), but I also want to get some forged pistons and new rods instead of oem style piston/rod combo to prep it for boost that I plan to do on down the road but if I'm going to have the engine apart I would like to just go ahead and get me some beefier internals in there. But my main question(s) is where to begin my shopping? Where do most of you guys go to get parts? (Online) also maybe a list of the more high end or better quality name brands to stick with and any other info help you could possibly help me with. Oh and I don't know a thing about tunes or which way to go with that (if necessary)
Also if I should go ahead and look into a new clutch assembly?
