My name is Dominic, Florida local and Automotive technical school student. I am the proud owner of a 1990 EF Hatchback (5 speed). I have so simple but big plans for this car. I am new to this whole forum thing, thought I'd give it a try. I will try to post pictures soon.

I am currently in the middle of fixing this beauty
So far I have replaced:
Front Motor/Trans Mount
CV Axle (Driver Side)
Tie Rod End (Driver Side)
Both Lower Ball Joints
Replaced the front seats with some cheap eBay seats i found around my dads house.

Still have to Fix:
Rear Main Seal is leaking oil (rougly a quart a week)
Replace driver side Brake caliper. Piston is a lil dry and dont letting the piston release all the way and cause the brake pads to constantly rub on the rotors and produce a really annoying squek at low speeds.

After all this will be onto the mods...

 

Welcome, and make sure it is indeed the caliper that is sticking rather than the caliper guide pins/"sliders" that are binding, but if you have determined it is the caliper I would recommend doing both at the same time. Anyways love to see pics

 

Ya im gonna try to post some pictures tomorrow when the sun is up. when i get to school im gonna take it off and look at it regrease the piston check out everything before i go buying parts
