Hi Honda forum buddies!

Joel here from out in NYC looking to see what’s been happening in the Honda world these days and also to share and receive advice on any car troubles.

Driving an 2001 Civic LX, D17A1 (non-Vtec) drove it out from Florida a few years ago and these cars are great!

Been having issues lately specifically with electronics. Done it all, battery change, alternators, you name it.

Recently I had the car idling waiting for my wife to get out of the supermarket and noticed my gauges dropping, battery light coming on and off and at the very brink of shutting down I began to drive and I guess the battery started getting more juice.

Anyhow, I’ve narrowed it down to my wiring harness possibly being faulty somehow. I have been able to find some AT harnesses online but mines is a MT and so I’m wondering if I could use an automatic harness on a Manual engine?
