lost vtec

Default lost vtec

ok i have a 94 accord f22b1 but i lost vtec about a week ago... ive tried to clean the screen on the vtec soleniod and the little piston goes up and down freely.. checked my oil and its full even changed out the pressure switch and the top heat deal with his and still nothing... also checked and i do have power going to the pressure switch but still no vtec and it was running great but then just quit randomly... help?

Take computer out and crack the case open look for blown capacitors. Computer location is floorboard right side. You have a plate use 10mm socket and a Phillips screw driver.

if that is the case and there is blown anything could i use an automatic one? and what would i have to take out or change? bc i have one just laying around..

i went and looked at the ecu and nothing was burnt or anything.. and also like a day before that i did run sea foam though it bc i had an idol problem the problem went away but now i have another problem and thats no vtec....

Did you forget to plug sensors back in, that's where I would start and check fuses

all sensors are in and all the fuses are good and I even today got a thermostat thinking that might help but it didn't change anything and I don't have a cel.
