so i just got a stock, black, 5 speed, 97 civic ex coupe and joined this forum to learn and grow into the community. i dont have pictures right now but i will soon be adding them to this introduction thread. i can already tell that i am going to get addicted to working on it and getting it how i want it. so far everyday i find something new to do to it.

my plans for this new little project is to turn it into a cool little daily that rides smooth and has a little power just for the fun of it. its not going to be stock but its not going to be a race car lol. just a cool good looking daily that still turns heads.

right now i am working on the body, just getting rid of little dents and rust spots and bondoing them in and getting them nice and smooth for paint. i had to order a new front bumper because the old one was cracked but that is easy ha.

but my real goal is to save up for a k series turbo eg hatch beast. but since i am pretty new to the honda community and working on cars in general that wont be for a while so my ek will do for now, plus ill learn how to work on this car and this forum will be a great help!

 

I went a different path with a different result. I found an 06 Si that is all OEM fully documented. All maintenance was done by Honda dealerships. It's in such good shape, my project is going to be to keep it original.
