I have a 97 Honda Civic LX and it started a couple months ago revving up and misfiring.But I was told at Auto Zone it was a vacuum leak so I ignore it and instead of buying some transmission slip I hunted for the leak. Well now I have to drive it to work manually in 2nd gear (it's automatic by the way) because it wont come out of 1st won't switch gears. Ran some codes and said to replace neutral safety switch so I did that still ain't going in gear.I tested all my transmission solenoids and the linear solenoid is bad so I ordered it.I also been hearing it could be the Governor Clutch pressure solenoid but then some say there ain't one in a 97 Honda civic. Someone please help me and send me in the eight direction and where the right direction is at thanks...
