Hey!

I'm new here, as I'm only just getting into the Honda game. I appreciate any help you can give, but I tend to not like those who put other users down because they are n00bs. I am against forum abuse for any type of car. Anyhow, now that that's out of the way...

I'm 17 years old and live in Maine. I made the mistake of buying a BMW in the last year, and hopefully going to sell it here very soon. I am trying to get a stock Integra Type-R that I would use as a daily driver for the rest of highschool and college years. Yes, I am aware that this would mean winter driving, but I would have the car prepped to be driven in winter. I would also be keeping the car stock, and not abusing it, so that it would last for many years. I know that sounds ridiculous for a teenager to say, but in all honesty, I hate to see special cars like an ITR be abused and beat on by people that don't respect them for what they are. My current budget for a purchase is most likely around $10K-$12K. Any tips towards buying one would be greatly appreciated, in addition to information about running costs.

In terms of getting the car, I am pretty capable of going many places, as I am about to start the college visit pilgrimage throughout the US, from here on the East Coast to the warm sunny West Coast.
