Icon5 Greetings...And Help!

I live in a lovely small town in Northern California, and drive a 1996 Honda Odyssey. Had a problem with the car today, and started browsing online to see if I could find any answers. Came up with this site; Hope someone can help! Anyway, got in the car, turned it over, and it stopped. Cranked it over again; let go of the key, and it died. Over and over. Hubby found that the ignition key, when he let go, slid back into "off", so he drove home holding the key gently, lightest touch, "on". Made it with a claw hand...Brake light on, hand brake disengaged. I thought at first that it was a fuel problem, because it starts but won't continue running; now it seems electrical. Any ideas? Thanks. Ellen
