I am a retired person and a newbie to this type of forum so please forgive me if I stumble a bit.
I have a 2010 Honda Jazz Automatic that had (and still does have) a problem selecting gears. A mechanic used his diagnostic machine to temporarily fix the problem. A 6 weeks later the same issue with selecting gears happened. The mechanic said that it was the ECU (computer?) and it was sent in to ECU for testing and reprogramming. The ECU was sent back to the mechanic who, apparently, has tried unsuccessfully over the past months to try to get the vehicles gears to work correctly. This has been going on for a year and I am at my wits end. Any advice will be most welcome.
