I'm a heavy duty mechanic, not a performance engine tech. Due to some circumstances I've been forced to drive a cheap car for insurance purposes . I bought a 97 civic with a 1.6 sohc that I'm willing to spend 10-15k on. I already know what suspension, brakes and clutch/flywheel/ Trans axles will cost. What I want to know is where do i get everything to fully rebuild a d16y7. I'm looking for bearings cam crank valves retainers pumps n etc. I'm going .20 over maybe more and looking to turbo. I'm not interested in swapping I want to see what I can get out of this engine.
