I've searched through alot of other forums, but I'm not coming up with any helpful info with my problem.

I have a 2002 Civic LX automatic. I keep getting code P1706 for the transmission range senseor. I've changed it a few times thinking I got a bad one from the parts store. I've also checked all the connections and everything is tight. I'm thinking I have a short somewhere but don't know what to actually check without a pinout or diagrams. Does anyone have any info on wiring or troubleshooting that circuit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
