Even though the ZC is a d series it will not fit on the SOHC blocks.

You should try doing your own work. It's much more cost effective and fun too. You will learn alot. Just pretend like your car is a big lego set. If it can be taken apart it can be put back together.

i do, do my own work on my own cars but he took it to the garage to have all this done and now there ****** up and they have had it for over a month... it doesn't seem possible to have a dohc head on a sohc block and even if it could be done how could the block handle that head ??? im not sayin your wrong i have just never heard of it done before, and why go threw that trouble when all he had to do was put the d16 head back on and recalibrate the tps.. it all started cuz he couldn't rev. past 2500 machanic thought it was all this other **** so he wanted to go put way more work into that car by swapin heads... Yet if you can put a dohc head on a sohc block then i have learned something new and am def. more impressed then before when i thought the machanic was a total jerk off....
