ZC (black cover) in a EG : what do I need ?
I've got a old zc from a previous CRX of mine, i would like to know if I can put it in a EG ?
- Wich motor mount should I use ?
- What EG harness fit ?
- Does the EG tranny fit the ZC ?
- What about the transaxles ?
I only have the block and all the accessories (alternator and so...) and I was wondering about an EG (surely CX) for very cheap money and swap it.

yes you can defiantly put on in a EG.
- change the driverside mount from around timing belt cover to the 92+ style. add a bottom mount. (other three mounts are on the tranny so no problems there)
-you need to convert to OBDI which includes a distributor (only compatiable dizzy
is JDM 92+ ZC DOHC dizzy) you may retro fit others with some modding. add the OBDI injectors, external map sensor (if you have 94-5 car)), rewire the coolant temp sensor to the back of the block.
use 92+ clutch/flywheel combination if the motor came from 88-9 car/tranny combo. yes the tranny will bolt on same as far as the axles and shift linkage.
is it worth it? not really but it defiantly can be done
