Default Wiring vtec haveing problems!

I have a 95 civic EG and I just finished putting in a 95 gsr motor (B18c1) now I'm trying to wire the vtec. I all ready know were I pin them to the ECU that's all ready done I just can't seem to find or even know where the KNock sensor or the secondary Intake solenoid is I just need the exact pin point. Another question Do I need to tape the evap purge power and evap purge solenoid for vtec to work? Thanks for all your help. I will post pic's when I done.

knock should be directly on the back of the block. or do u need the pinout location on the ecu? if so, what ecu are u using?

and for the vtec, u shouldnt have to tap any power wire. it just gets a signal(blue/black) from the ecu and the other wire is a ground(black).

hondaZvic so the knock sensor is behind the block on the driver side or on the passenger? And where is the Secondary Intake Solenoid? I'm running a P28 ECU, I already know where the pin g to on the ecu. I just can't seem to find certain wires.

-the knock is a red/yellow wire. (only 1 wire) it should be by the oil filter somewhere...

-and the secondary intake solenoid. i believe is under the intake manifold. should be connected to like a black box maybe...

-sorry, i cannot give u an exact location, because im not to familiar with the gsr (im an H22 guy, but they are all pretty similar)

where is VTECVILLAIN? isnt he the gsr/civic guru on here? IM him. maybe he can help u more than i can.

but keep us posted.

adding the wire was a little tricky because on the sheet I was using said that the secondary intake solenoids wire was Pink/blue and I couldn't find it, it's not really pink it looks red and it's behind the manifold. I just tap a wire to that one and then pined it to the ECU using a different wire.....
