Default wiring problems

I have a 93 civic si hatch and I am swaping a 96 gsr motor in it. I was going to do the integra dash as well, but it does not fit the way I wanted it to. The dash had gaps aroung it and I was just not pleased. But when I was doing all of that I swapped the under dash wire harness from the integra as well . but now I have a 92 tan civic dash in there and not every thing is working. My rear windshield wipper does not work, my reverse light is on when I turn the key on. The radio does not work. I have a civic gage cluster in the dash and a civic indash wire harness. I had to swap out one of the plugs on the wire harness because it didn't match the integra fuse box to plug in. So basically I have mostly all obd 2 wires in my car except for the rear chas wiring harness is the orgainal wire harness and the harness behind the gage cluster. The motor runs but it does not idle. Do I need to swap over the vacum canster from the integra as well because there are more vacum lines then needed with the civic vacum canster. I am in need of some real knowlegde please help!

Hmmm. I hope you have the Helms manuals for both the civic and the teg. They have comprehensive wiring diagrams with plug pin-outs and locations. Thats the only way you are going to really be able to figure out that mess. Short of that i would say start tracing wire continuity from the fuse box.

Why did you go with the Teg cabin wiring harness? it's not really needed for the dash swap anyway and it has many subtle diferences from the civic harness (as you have obviously discovered). Too much headache to be worth it in my opinion.

Good luck! I wish I could have been more help if your questions were more specific but it's really just too broad. It sounds like you have quite a job on your hands.
