Default wiring conversion

i recently purchased a jdm motor, b18c type r to swap into my 99 civic si. which wiring harness do i need to complete the job?

did your swap come with ECU and wiring harness? If it did then use that harness and ecu.

Don't even think of listening to this guy. You cannot use a JDM B18C engine harness in a US 96+ Civic. Use your 99 Civic Si engine harness, it should work pretty well if the JDM B18C engine is 96+ as well, and if you want to run an obd2a ecu, get an ecu adapter and be done with it.. If by chance the motor is of the obd1 variant, still use your 99 Si engine harness and make a few changes to it (injector plugs, distributor plugs, IAT sensor, etc)..
