Wiring B18C into an EF
I've done the ZC and B16A swaps into 4th gens and now I'm doing a B18C (JDM Type-R) into a 90 Si CRX. I received the motor with a chopped harness and it's hard to see where everything plugs into. I also see few differences with this motor than previous. I'm also planning on using a PR3. So my questions are:
1) What is the plug on the thermostat? It's the same fitting as the ECT(Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor in the front of the motor, maybe a second ECT sensor?
2) The motor is already mounted and I can't see the knock sensor or oil pressure sensor on the backside of the motor. Is there anything different with these compared to the B16A?
3) Do I need a resistor box? Are the injectors for the B18C saturated or non-saturated?
That's it for now, thanks for any help or shared experience.

Re: Wiring B18C into an EF (Home Skillet)
Hey man i put the same motor in my 2000 si. Electrical problems are a bitch huh. Well, my best freind who has been a tech for GM for about six year put the motor in. He is very mechanically inclined and has a eg6 turboed that he put together himself actually. But anyways, he finally found a pin out of a P72 which is obd1 and was able to use that as a his guide. If you have any specific questions email me at jd5178@ship.edu and i will try and forward them to him and get you some answers. He knows his **** and should be able to help you.
