Default wiring 2nd o2 sensor

i have a '00 b18c in a '00 dx and running an si ecu along with the harness. i'm want to keep it obd2 for a the mean time. does anyone know how to wire the second o2 into the ecu, a pinout of the exact location where the wires go would help greatly. thanks.

If you're using a 99-00 Si harness, the wiring is already there. All OBD2 harness's have wiring for the secondary 02 sensor.. all you have to do is plug it in or extend the wires if needed.

And I hope you're not running a GSR engine with an Si ecu, I don't think the Si ecu can control the IAB.

Maybe someone else can help with this answer, I'm known to give fucked up answers sometimes, but I would take my word for it.

About the IAB, yes. The B16 is not designed to control the secondary runners. But, as sort of a safety the runners were designed to stay open if the wiring wasn't there.

So, they are open right now which means you may be losing some low end torque, but it's not too big of a problem.

About the O2, it's all there. The ecu has the plug you need, your car has the wires and sensor you need and the 2nd sensor opening should be there too.

NO they do not! The second sensor's wire is fed from behind the cupholder in the 99-00 SI. As Trey said you have to do some wiring....see the link he added.

The 99-00 Si DOES have a second O2 sensor which means it DOES have wiring for that second O2 sensor in it's harness. He may need to lengthen it, yes, but it is there.

FYI....it is not included in the engine harness. It is part of the chassie harness in 99-00 Si, and the 96-00 Ex.

The missinformation here is amazing. As I, Trey and HXMan have all said; there is NO secondary O2 wires in the engine harness, it IS on the chassis harness and I would like you to prove me wrong. Hell I'll even provide a 99 SI for you to use to show me.

There is a plug for the primary 02, not the secondary.

Ahhh, my bad. I thought it was on the wiring harness, didn't know it was on the chassis wiring. So shouldn't his DX chassis have the wire he needs since it came OBD2?
