Wired in IAB/KS: Throws CEL
I have a 95 b18c1 with the cx engine harness in a 92 vx shell. I wired both sensors directly to the ecu and it's throwing code 23 but not IAB. How do I know if I even wired IAB correctly or even working properly? Any ideas? I searched but don't really see swaps w/o using a gsr engine harness. I need help fast because I need to pass bar/referee/smog.
you need to get you a wiring diagram for the b18c1 engine harness. having the correct wiring schematic is the best solution.the IAB should open up around 4000 rpm. you will see the lever move if all is working properly. as for the knock sensor, if the cx harness does not come with a knock sensor wire you cannot just use any wire. i believe its a shielded wire, that is probably why its throwing the code. could also be a faulty sensor
I'm only throwing code 23 and IAB isn't wired, weird. Maybe I need to a use different ecu. Well, yes that's how I wired D3(blue/yellow striped),cut not spliced. On the IAB, pink go to A17 and the other just splice into A20 since there is a wire present(red)? O2 sensor & Vtec, I ran into the shock towers since it was pre-wired.
