Default Will a stock LS Shift linkage work?

im not sure if its a custom one or a modded one i dont remember what the guy said, but if it is a stock shift linkage from a ls motor will it work on my EF swap? if not what do i have to do to make it work? do you guys no the measurments i need to cut and weld it?

the only way to make it work is to cut and weld it. the swap linkage is shorter than the LS linkage, and if you've never done it before i would reccomend you not try it. ive seen people cut and weld linkages back together, and they have a hard time shifting and their tranny didnt last more than 5,000 miles after that. not saying its impossible to do it right, just saying its hard to get it exactly how you need it. you're better off to just buy the swap linkage from someone reputable like hasport. i know 150.00 is kinda steep, but its worth it when you take into consideration the price of a tranny.
