Will 99 Si harness work for EG B16A swap, or do I have to get 97+ GSR harness?

Will 99 Si harness work for EG B16A swap, or do I have to get 97+ GSR harness?
I'm having a lot of electrical problems lately due to accidentally jostling a lot of the wires above the trans while doing some maintenance, and also spilling antifreeze on some of the wire plugs while changing the radiator hoses. I don't want to go thru the hassle of diagnosis and replacement of wires and wire pin connections etc, so I'm just gonna get a brand new harness from honda or acura. I know I can use the 97-01 GSR harness, but can I also use the 99 Si harness? That one is easier for me to get ahold of brand new, and I'm definitely going brand new and not used. Thanks.

This is kinda funny: a brand new EG harness is $200 shipped from majestic honda; a brand new GSR harness is $650. Both will work, if you have the extra wires for VTEC and the knock sensor run to your ECU, which I have. Hilarious. I think I'll get the EG harness.

Damn kids.
Use your existing harness whenever doing a swap. If you dont have one, get the one required for your chassis.

you can get a used GSR harness for like $100 off ebay. Some people prefer that to having to run their own wires for VTEC and the knock sensor. It's just personal preference. I used my DX harness and ran the extra wires, which was a pain, but free. But since my wire harness is all fubar now, I'm just gonna go with the DX. Way cheaper than the other two.
