why would a complete H22 swap be cheaper than a complete b16a2 swap?
makes no sense to me, enlighten me though.

Its called supply and demand!!! Low supply of b16 and high demand = higher price
huge supply of h22 and low deman = lower price

You owe me a for my answer!!!

tis true my friend i obviously wasn't thinking in terms of economics, but it makes sense in that frame of mind. and i guess a b16 is more practical, since you don't have to mod a bunch of stuff in the bay which means that they can up the price on it knowing that the swap is cookbook, where as the h22 is a lil more complicated and they know that whoever is swapping it is gonna spend more money on it. So if the price of the engine(h22) is to high they'd say no-way.

^^ does that make sense?

UUUUhhhhmmmm yeah!!! Well you are also forgetting that the b16 comes with tranny that has a much more favorable gear ratio than a h22 does!!!
