Where is the proportioning valve??
I'm getting the front brakes off of an Si. I know that I want to get few extra things like the master cylinder and the brake booster...also, the proportioning valve...but wtf is it?
Thanks.
Thanks.
It tells the fluid where to go (i.e. what percent goes to front, what goes to back) Because of the difference in the capacity of fluid from disk to drum, this is why you want to change the valve.. It is located on the firewall, right behind the intake manifold (the silver looking box with 5-6 hardlines going into it)
ceas..
ceas..
Would this benefit me to install it at this point seeing as I'm still using drums in the rear?
Or just hold on to it until I upgrade to rear discs?
