Try "The Racer's Edge". They carry everything from NAWS to T66 turbos and Motec exhausts.
You can build a B20/VTEC that makes more HP, for half the cost of a Spoon motor. 11k rpms are for motorcycles.

A Spoon engine is only built to last a few races then it will need a full rebuild (bearings and rings).
They are "Race" engines. Not to be confused with "Daily Driver" engines.
Build a B18c and it will last longer and be just as fast.

Re: Where to get a Full Sppon Spec Engine (ridge racer 2)
And your all wrong what makes Spoon motors better is they are built to be more reliable and produce better overall power for the street and when mixed with the proper race car can produce a very competitive edge there as well.

Anyways, if you want low end power, B20/VTEC would be good. H22 would be better. And tell your friends to stop watching TF&TF.

Re: Where to get a Full Sppon Spec Engine (C5_ALLMOTOR)
ok look man...ill be the one
since this is your first motor...
try and locate a b16a from a 92 or newer...spend the extra 300$ for the LSD model
run that for awhile and become aclimated to your car and motor, upgrade wisely, and take care of you motor.
When you feel you cant do much more with your b16a, then go for the b18C5
or the JDM B18C R spec.
but you wont need a complete R swap, just the longblock which saves you a fortune!
i believe its the only 2 motors youlle ever need.
