Wheel Size question Help !!!!!

Default Wheel Size question Help !!!!!

i just bought a pair of 17 by 7 inch oz superleggeras and took them home drove on them for about an hour and realized that when i turn the wheel the rubber rubs on the inside fenderwall

the rims are 17 by 7 and the rubber is 215/40/17
they are telling me i have to keep them but i dont want to cuz they rub

can someone confirm this is wrong ???

is your car at stock ride height?
and i have the same size on my car and they only rub when its loaded down with people (4 people and box in the back)

no its not at stock ride height its pretty low to the ground
prolly 3 inch drop

Even 205-50-16's will rub a little if your car is really low (at least mine do when i have the wheel all the way cranked over). It's only an issue when i park so i don't really care. Your wheel/tire combo is pretty wide, you may just have to live with it or sell the 17"s and get something smaller.

common sense dude.
dont drop it 3 inches.

ummmmmm......3 inch drop on 17's is goin to rub like crazy!!! the best you can do is roll the fenders or put up with the rubbing!!

dont do it with a "baseball'' bat have a shop do it for ya, will look better and solve the problem.
