Look in http://www.crvtec.com 's transaxle section for most b-series gear ratios on tranny's '94+.

yeah.. ITR tranny with 4.785 FD is good, plus u get the LSD too, or you can go with Spoon 4.857FD with GS-R tranny or Cusco 5.0 FD with LS tranny, take a pick.

Too bad he needs a cable tranny...
OR get the HASport hydro kit and drop in the ITR tranny with the ATS 4.929 - I have this set-up and it totally kicks ***.

all b series gears 92-01 are the same, meaning 92 ls trans is exactly the same as lets say a 94 ls trans, except for the inner case. find yourself a vtec ys1(gsr trans). there is not one specific trans for the "all motor" need. it depends upon your app. if you are a stop light to stoplight guy, a high final drive might be needed, but if you are a quarter mile racer, maybe a y21 gear stack(with the 440) would be more in order for your need.

Your ratios depend on what you race. You would have different ones for different styles of racing.
I would say a ITR, just because the LSD. Or you could get a LSD for you GSR tranny.

I also said he needed a CABLE tranny.
Get the JDM J1/S1 because it has the same gearing as the USDM Type R and 4.400 FD. USDM YS1 could still be the ultra-poo pooy LS gearbox.

If you got chedda like that, go for a hydro conversion, buy a jdm type r tranny, and go kick some ***. But if you survive by the more modest means( such as myself) try a j1/s1/ys1, all have nice gears. Just look out for grinds, im sure youre pretty aware of that problem w/jdm cable trannies. but they all are good for n/t applications.
