supra TT..... or swap everything from my wrecked ITR into an EK hatch??

all i can say right now is..... i think the ITR hatch would be a lot funner in the streets.... let's face it.... who's gonna rev a supra off? (i live in cali)

i found a supra TT for 17.9..... i esitmated the ITR EK to be around 14-15k... (and no i won't be able to use left over money because it'd be going to my dad)

but that supra will go.... vrooooooom pshhhhhhh!

on the other hand.... i have that VTEC harmony...

 

This is what you can do, buy the supra tt, sell all the stuff from your type r and spend the mula on upgrading the turbos on the supra. You could make 8-9K easy from selling all the salvagable stuff form your teg.

damn... i won't have much fun in the streets with the supra though..... but i will get all them hunnies!!! and i'll have the wonderful BOV sound...

the HB is a good sleeper tho... with the wonderful sound opf ITR's VTEC...

an EK would be nice with a b18c5, just look at Merrit's ITR swapped EK

but a Supra would get you girls...unless your a slack-jaw'ed monkey

You don't need a Supra to get bitches...

I LOVE Supras (Im a Moderator on Supraforums.com) but Stay true to your Honda onless your a super baller. Normally, anyone whos depending on Daddy isn't a Super Baller. Supras cost so much to work on and Mod. Talking to alot of Supra owners, it doesnt seem alot...but alot of those guys have NO Problem dropping 2000 for a new block when they Drop a rod from running too lean, etc etc...

Anyways, I plan on getting a Supra eventually...but not before college is over.
Your gonna get raped on Insurance too...

You don't need a Supra to get girls...If you do, you need tog et yourself some game. You should be able to seal the deal (Get her back to your house) without even bringing the car up. A Supra would help seal the deal, but so would a baddass looking Hatch. I get girls into my car and their like "Where's the Interior".
I just tell them not to worry about it. They understand if the cars fast

On a Tangent, I saw a PYR Ek Hatch with ITR Interior and 5 Lug and all that **** for 8,000 on Partstrader. That would be kewl...hes in Bay Area too I think.

HAHA... yeah i had a feeling somone would realize i've been asking for help everywhere....

but the truth of the matter is... i'm not trying to make you guys make a decision for me... but rather trying to get as much information as i acanbefore i make a decision... yenno....

and i understand what you say about the "super baller"..... and to tell you the truth.... the reason why i got that type R.... is because my parent's cut me a deal when i started high school.... they said if i became valedictorian of my graduating class... they'll get me any car i want (thats reasonable of course) it turns out that i became salutatorian (second from valedictorian)... and they said it was close enoguh....lol.... so they got me a used ITR and i pay the insurance, gas, maintencance... etc....

I guess i'm just gonna miss the oohs and ahhs i got when i went to the local car gatherings...

oh well.... i'll get the same reaction with my BOV on my mr2..

 

In my opinion, a hatch with a type R motor and 5 lug conversion, gets way more oohs and awwws than a type R.
Then turbo it, so you can have the BOV sound you want so bad.

 

ahhh turbo type R in a EK hatch... that would be the ****...

but i'm afraid to boost the R.... i odn't wanna blow it up hehe

 

Low boost won't hurt the R motor at all. Later on, lower compression pistons and a few other things, you'd be fine.

I know of someone with a stock R motor turbo running 11s. Stock motor! Mind you it's a good turbo package, but it can handle it pretty well.

 

the maintenance on a supra would be too costly... upgrades on performance parts would be a killer... and insurance would make you poor.... hehe

go with the ek hatch and the itr motor... plus you can always turbo it for the bov sound...

 

I would get the Supra if you can afford it. But expect to pay at least $4k for insurance.

 

cool.... i wanna learn how to swap it myself... but all i know right now is the stuff i read off the net.... it's hard that way.... i'd rather have someone acutally come down and help me... and because i know it's gonna take longer if i wanna do it myself (i wanna save money)... i'm gonna have two cars in pieces for a very long time... therefore.... i'm buying an mr2 turbo for right now... keeping the wrecked ITR .... and do the project (unless i fall in love wit hteh mr2 heh)
