DO NOT USE a delsol B-series shift linkage. It's specifically made for the delsol chassis and slightly differs than 94+ Integra/99Si/EG-SiR/EK-SiR shift linkages.

Reuse the 00 Si shift linkage you claim to have, it will work 100% with your VX + B16A2 engine + trans.

Rather than blowing my money on new linkage, I'm going to modify my EK linkage to work with a B18..I've found a little info on this, but does anybody else have and good links or insight on the best way to go about this?

I used ls linkage from a 96 teg in my old cx. Worked fine. I believe that all of the b series linkages work except for the Del sol's as mentioned above.

Why do people think the delsol won't work?my buddy took a delsol VTi and swapped everything into a 92 civic hatch just fine.Including the shiftlinkage.

because its basic Honda Knowledge that a del sol shifter wont work... the chassis is totally different, and its just plain the wrong one.. thats all.. trust me, ive done one before, as ive done many before... i know people who mix and match shift linkages, but all the ghetto rigged wrong applications feel like wet noodels, a pain to drive, thats my $0.02..

here's a picture of why it won't work..

the upper is a del sol, the lower is an integra.. i'm not sure how your friend got it to work when it's shorter AND bent differently.. strange that he's the only person i've ever heard it working for..

I'm sure Katman was right but I just had one question about that linkage... is the top one SOHC ****??? the torque rod bushing that bolts to the tranny looks like a SOHC design but I dunno...

Maybe in the states it's different(is the shift linkage in the picture from a b or d),or maybe he did something when nobody was looking, but his entire swap came from a sol VTi and he used all the parts.

Yup. I have personally done one on my friends 95 hatchback with a B16. I have also modified a d series shift linkage to work on a b series but it felt like ****. I swapped it out within 2 weeks for a b series. I would not recommend that route to anyone.

yep, the top is d-series, the lower is b-series.. i'll soon be getting a picture of two d-series AND b-series sitting next to eachother, but for now this picture gives you the idea of how they differ..
