what to look for in a h22 EG?
I am considering trading my car for a 93 hatch with a 96 h22 motor. Is there anything major I should look for check before I go through with this trade? Any help would be great. Thanks.

make sure there's no shady wiring...no burning oil, not smoking ETC... Just like you would for a normal car.
as far as the h22 swap itself goes...just find out what mount kit (all of them are alright...as long as it's a major brand!..just preference itself between the three major brands) it's using and if it's got the proper axles, make sure it doesn't overheat with a stock shot radiator...
If it all checks out okay..Gobble that sucker up

So there arent any common problems with this swap that I need to be aware of before I get this car? Also, what is a realistic 1/4 mile time? The guy said he ran a 12.60 with intake, exhaust, cam gears, a stage 3 clutch and stripped hatch. Does this sound right?

i think thats a pretty quick time.. he might have a lil something else in there...
just be sure to look EVERYTHING over.... if just anyone did the swap or if a shop did the swap, it should look professional. good luck
