as far as i know it's going to have to all be custom. if you get a good system made up, there's no reason why it can't be 'functional' and even make decent power..just because nobody can seem to manage to make a good dual exhaust system by NO means does it mean it CAN'T be done. but i'm sure you're just going to get flamed for being 'ricey' though. a good N/A exhaust system is what...around 2.5" or so? so you could go 2.5" into a Ypipe with each one of those around 1.5" inch or so in diameter. if the exhaust is bent right, and you have a good Ysection, i see no reason why it couldn't flow just as good as any 'single' exhaust. or you could go with a custom header (2-1) two sets of exhaust ports, into dual cats with 2" piping since you've got an H22...that would be pretty pimp if someone could take the time to make something like that work

Any links..??
And I am just considering this since I might go turbo within a year so I wanted to see what different options I would have.. Not everyone likes to have the same setup and sometimes its good to try different things, once its well researched of course..
And I know you get what I mean hotEF.. hehe

I had Dual Greddy's customed piped by JT Autostyle on my 95 Civic Coupe, i had no losss in power, yet i felt no gains i'll admit, It looks nice as Fck and sounded nice as fck also you get alot of props for it. I had alot of people ask me if the second one was a dummy, i told them to look under my car, piping's all there....well my car was rear ended and i totaled it to the insurance, but before i gave up my ride, i made sure tot take off my exhuast system since it wasn't damaged. I also had a rear bumped that had a custom cut to make room for the second exhaust, and i know some people buy like the black widow kit but only have one exhuast coming out thru the back, that looks really cheesy, also i've seen some with two exhuast but the other is just a dummy exhaust. If you can find someone to pipe it all for you, go for it man, but get some real nice exhausts, like Tanabe, Greddy, or Apexi. Good Luck!

Okay thanks.. I know that the piping on the stock Type S ludes in Japan is 2.5 all the way back so I guess that would be a good place to start..
And thanks for the input, I may not be doing it now, but will probably look into it later down the line..

I'm going dual, but I couldn't give a **** how it looks. Hell, I'm might even paint my mufflers black and tuck them up under the bumper... To me, it's for sound control. My car is 2 liter supercharged, it's a loud ****. Hopefully 2 resonators and 2 big *** mufflers will help that...

Although I personally wouldnt get a dual exhaust on my civic, (To heavy) I dont particularly think that its ricey. Would everyone quit flaming each other about being riceboys and what not??!?!? If you are gonna build a dual exhaust start with a 2.5 inch pipe and split it into two maybe 2inch or 1.5 inch pipes. Also, if you are one of those guys saying that Inline engines dont use dual exhausts, go look at an S2000, Audi A4, or BMW M3, all have inline motors and dual exhausts.
